90” HAWKER SEA FURY
This plane is scaled at 2.35 inches to the foot. The plans show all structures drawn full size including the installation of flaps and Hank Likes retracts and our Giant Scale Retracts. Full size templates are also shown for all ribs and formers. The parts available are: fiberglass cowl, clear plastic canopy and an aluminum spinner and backplate. See our Struts and Tailwheel elsewhere in our Giant Scale Retracts section. Primary construction is light plywood, balsa and spruce or pine using conventional building techniques. All structures are built-up and sheeted with 1/8 or 3/32 inch balsa. The 90” Seafury uses our 5.50 diameter wheels and our 1/5 scale WW II pilot figure.

101 “ HAWKER SEA FURY For R/C Unlimited Air Racing
Now you can build a giant scale model of one of the hottest and meanest ships to ever fly at Reno! Our 101” Reno version is a 13% enlargement of our very successful 90 inch plans which have been adjusted and redrawn to meet R/C unlimited racing rules. The construction techniques are the same as our 90” version. Just a little bigger! A fiberglass cowl and clear plastic canopy are available. An aluminum spinner and backplate is available from our 90 inch version. The 101” Sea Fury uses our 6.00 diameter wheels and our 1/4 scale pilot figures.
