The P-47 THUNDERBOLT is scaled at 2.3 inches to the foot. It is available in either Bubble or Razorback variants. Our plans show both versions and include full size templates for all ribs and formers. We also provide the builder with the option of utilizing our fiberglass fuselage vs the conventional all wood built-up method. The plans show both methods of construction. Retracts and flap installations are also shown to help produce the most accurate and realistic P-47 on the market today.

Vailly Aviation also offers many accessory parts for our P-47 such as fiberglass cowl, optional fiberglass fuselage (when available), clear plastic canopy (either Bubble or Razorback), landing gear door liners, wing pylons, wheels and pilots. The P-47 uses our 5.50 or 6.00 diameter wheels and our 1/5 scale WW II pilot figure.
