| Vailly Aviation offers a series of realistic looking, rugged and economical wheels for your Giant Scale Aircraft, whether it be civilian or military. The hubs are made of lightweight, high quality, high strength aircraft grade cast aluminum. The centers are supplied with a threaded steel bushing. Each hub half is drilled for 3/16" dia. axle shafts and may be drilled out to accept up to 1/4" dia. axles. Hub sizes are designed to fit 4.50 - 5.00 and 5.50 - 6.00 dia. popular brand tires. Hubs are available separately or with tires mounted. The 4.50 and 5.00 dia. assembled wheels use Sullivan Skylite tires while the 5.50 and 6.00 assembled wheels use Dubro TL tires.
The 4.00 wheels are available on a limited basis. The 4.00 wheel uses the hubs from the 4.5/5.0 tyres and are machined accordingly to fit the 4.00 Sullivan tyre.
Perfect nose wheel for that B-25 etc.
Why put up with broken or worn-out plastic hubs? After all, “real” aircraft use aluminum hubs — why not yours? |
